My name is Roger MacBride Allen. I was born in 1957, in Connecticut. My wife is a Foreign Service Office, and as a result I’ve been around a bit. We’ve lived in Brasilia, Brazil, Leipzig, Germany, and Mexico City, and spent good chunks of times in other places. We have two sons, one each in high school and middle school as of this writing. We live in Takoma Park, Maryland.
I’ve written about 25 books (depending on how you count collaborations and so on) and, acting as publisher of FoxAcre Press, I have edited and published about 30 or so others.
The above facts have shaped my experience and perspective, and, I hope and expect, will inform The View From Here.
